The problem of macroing is inflation. The problem of inflation is that developers will likely create more and more expensive rods while the people actually playing the game (you're not playing when using macros) will fall further and further behind. Once players get the money printing Prism rod, you'll make tens of millions while people without it have a very hard time catching up. 

The problem of macroing/ inflation is turbocharged via scripts that allow for insta catching and teleporting to events. This is what directly affects players that aren't macroing. 

If you have to use a macro in a game like fish, I'd suggest playing something else. There is no endgame once you hit lvl 1000 henceforth there is no need to be max level in this game. Most rods that are behind lvl restrictions have already been outdone by more recent rods. 

For anyone suggesting that it's impossible without a macro... I've had prism rod before lvl 500 and you could grind the 15m from scratch just fishing in the Roslit event. Is it repetitive? Absolutely. Is it grindy? More than other games. But then again... it's a choice.

My problem with Fisch is how boring the fishing is.. Click the circle a bunch, then the actual fishing mechanic for a few seconds, and repeat. The puzzles, the exploration, the quests, that's all fun, but grinding money and XP is soo boring and takes away from the actual gameplay.. If the game wasn't designed the way it was players wouldn't need to use macros.

Here's my take on this, I feel like the grind for fisch has become exponentially harder. Back then i played the game regularly because it wasnt too grindy to the point where macros is a must but now grinding takes way to long a good example of this is ofc ethereal prism rod.. I get the fact its 15m for a reason but isnt it too expensive? Sure trident rod and aurora used to be the best back then but it had competition on wether to use "Would you rather have almost instant catch rate + Piercing + Atlantean OR Aurora for that 6x multiplier" it was fun just trying out new rods but now it feels empty

i actually play on pc and got to lvl 750 without macro, but in the next week they added 1000 lvl.

They need to add a double xp weekend every other week at least, it is hard to level up without a macro.

The only reason why i macroed is that i dont have enough motivation to grind 24/7 to get level 1000 when the rod (seraphic rod) is worse than ethereal prism which takes way less time to get (my brain always thinks "why would i grind 24/7 for a rod worse than the rod im using rn?" so i always just leave and play other games)

As a bss macroer (the og roblox macro) macros are only bad if the creator says so, let people be, some can't be playing all day but need to play all day for events or special stuff, if you hate people for that, maybe you should get a life

This situation literally can split the community 50-50. Now I'm just going to speak on behalf on both perspective of this, the non-macroer (mobile/controller) and the macroer (pc/laptop). Since I have experienced both situations. This is my opinion btw.
Starting off with the non-macro users: mobile/controller: There is definitely somewhat of an unfair disadvantage towards them as they cannot macro, either due to their inability to own a laptop or pc. I can understand this as for someone who grinds legitimately are being fallen behind by those that macro and as there are more updates, they can fall behind even further as they do not have sufficient amount of resources/ xp, etc.

On the other hand, the macro users: pc/ laptop: There is definitely an unfair advantage on their side, being able to gain tons of resources overnight, and be super stacked for the next update. Yes, macro is “unfair” in the eyes of non-macro users, however, let’s be real, no-one has the balls to sit and play a game for 5+ hrs, some people have other things in life that they can do while they macro.
{The devs should really clarify on the macro situation, and balance the game, seriously, because right now, if you were a new player, you ain't gonna catch up to everyone, especially if you don't macro.}
Q) Why can’t non-macro user just start using macro?? There are people out there that cannot afford a laptop or pc to game and macro, and so they are stuck with what they have.
Q) Should I use macro?? Well, go for it, that’s totally up to you, no-one’s gonna stop you, take it at your own risk.
BUT you cannot whinge (complain) about updates related contents, “there’s no new content”, “update so lame”, “too easy”, “we need more”, “L update” …. BECAUSE when an update release it is meant to take some time to grind and enjoy the new stuff, THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME. However, majority of macro users already have enough resources to complete the update in 1 day which ruins the point of so-called “grind the new update”.
I personally started using, but I can feel the pain of those who can’t, as well as my experience slowly drop.
At the end of the day the only experience your ruining is YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE.
Its really not worth it, but its your choice, you"ll regret doing so when you soon realise there's no sense of personal achievement
Like I said if you want to macro go for it, it's your own risk

EDIT: 10:53 I mean yea you're not wrong. It'll make feel the player obligated to buy these bundles for luck boost or just buy the other luck boost that only goes to 8x. Especially with the Mariana's Veil locked door that REQUIRES 3 SECRETS THAT ARE HARD TO GET, like what's the point of a secret if it's something you need it to access something? That's not a secret anymore, that's a primary thing in order to progress at this point. This by far was their stupidest decision ever (as well as the moby hunt then nerfing the enchantment you get for completing the quest like dude it was already hard to REEL in one and the chances are not guaranteed.)
In summary you pretty much talked about the entire state of the game and honestly you got it all right. I agree with you. It's...stupid.

7:55  This is one of the most ridiculous argument I have ever heard. Saying "If you care about our game, then don’t use macros!" has nothing to do about a game's appreciation. Macros are just used to grind for money and exp... That’s all! Did they expect players to sit there all day, clicking the shake button, playing the mini-game, and repeating the process endlessly until they reach max level? It’s basically like watching paint dry. I don’t understand the hate to be honest, macros aren’t game-breaking. It won't help you catch secret, exotic, or mythical fish. Again, macros are mostly used for grinding money and exp. I tested it myself, and most of the time, I didn't catch many rare fish unless I use a high-resistance rod like the King’s Rod. and even that, wouldn't be able to catch secret or exotic fish. heck, who would want to afk grind when you're hunting for a rare fish? lol. just because players use macro, doesn't automatically means we don't appreciate the game... smh
