A longstanding recreational flight tradition with the Royal Aero Club of Western Australia is the Rottnest Island bun run on the Easter weekend. It originated some years back before city and metro area shops opened on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Towns outside of the city were permitted Sunday trading including the bakery over on Rottnest island some ten minutes from Jandakot ( YPJT ) near Perth in Western Australia. So the flight to Rottnest and back for fresh Easter hotcross buns started.

Fun stuff! I flew friends to McDonalds at Port Columbus airport in Ohio several times in College. Crap food, but the experience of eating burgers around the aroma of freshly burned Jet A was most memorable.

The food looked awesome! We do not have that mexican grill in Oslo, Norway! There is an Oslo, ND. Ever in the SFO area. Fly to HAF, and eat lunch and fly back.
