I had 2 waves of pokérus in Pokemon Sheild: One from when I caught a Hawlucha, and one when I was messing around pretending to be an electric gym leader with my shiny Galvantula named Galvin. I was stupidly lucky when I was young.

Interesting fact is that pokèrus is actually coded in scarlet and violet but you can’t obtain the virus even if you were to transfer a pokemon with it into Paldea, it’ll just not appear in the summary unless put back in a game that can obtain it like Galar.

I actually got my first case of pokerus before my first shiny that wasn't the red garados, ik it made my mons broken when i ended up soloing 5 of lances pokemon witn a literal apiom I used the most niche mons i could find when i was 7, i mean i still do now.

Nature is a mechanic that determines a Pokémon's stat growth and preferred flavors. Be warned that Mints only change the stat growth, leaving the preferred flavors the same. You are better off giving the neutral Nature Pokémon Mints so they will never get confused by different Kinomi flavors in any way, while having the right stats in battle.

It's really good timing that I find this now, cause I was playing Pokémon Platinum and I wasn't paying attention to the dialogue of Nurse Joy when I was healing my Pokémon, so I only got to see her saying the word "Pokérus" and got super worried 😢 It makes sense that it's a rare event, but I wish I could have read the whole dialogue 😢

I was playing Pokémon Unbound like 3 days ago, an hour into the game, I have that my team has gotten Pokerus, and then I found a shiny a few minutes later. For those wondering it was a shiny Flabebe.

I actually got pokerus in my Sword playthrough and I'd only heard of it in passing before so I was super confused, but it ended up being so awesome because at the time I was flipping through a whole box's worth of mons the train and they all ended up catching it
