@plasmaburndeath

Just reminder that Elon really cracked during the Thai Cave Rescue event, when his coffin rescue pod was dismissed as not being viable by actual Cave Rescue Experts, Elon started calling them pedos and shit and started going down the right wing pit of chaos. He has never been the same. Before that he was a bit out there but not so boldly being completely fascist. At least before that event he was just a normal corporate-lite fascist instead of orange shit fascist.

@darby2314

"It's just a joke."
"Don't be so thin skinned."
"If you don't like it you can leave."
Three cruel lines commonly delivered by abusers.
Incidentally, also three of Musk's favorite sayings.

@Itharl

Can we also just emphasize that social security isn't an entitlement, it's literally a thing most people pay into for the vast majority of their lives. The idea that we shouldn't get some of that back when we retire is insane.

@aprotosis

A little worried that the guy who owns a neural science company that wants to plug into your brain, considers empathy to be a bug.

@seraphonica

the people saying "you could never make a Mel Brooks movie today" are the people who would be triggered if they watched History of the World part 2 (released in 2023)

@TheDuddleyCo

The greatest weakness of democracy is that it requires an informed and educated voter base to be active and involved in the democratic process.

@What_do_I_Think

His whole thinking comes out of the sewer ..... of apartheid.

Apartheid by definition is, when one class deserves everything, and the other class deserves not even empathy.

@while_coyote

Elon makes a great case for why Elon should be sued by Tesla shareholders for his antics ruining the stock price.

@Scot-p1v

Empathy?
Didn’t Elon claim that his Nazi salute was just his heart going out to everyone?

@chriscasperson5927

Edolf Twittler: "That Tim Walz is a big jerk finding joy in Tesler's woes."

Also Edolf Twittler: "CHAINSAW! CHAINSAW!"

@miragewizard

A man who does not value empathy will never receive it either. Woe to that man!

@SleepyMatt-zzz

Doesn't really surprise me considering he seems to share every other worldview with someone like Ayn Rand, who believed that it is EVIL to act on one's empathy and selflessness, and that selfish rich people are what make society better.

@randomjunk1977

Some genius, who's name I have sadly forgotten, made this comparison that I can't unsee every time Elon comes up: Elon looks and sounds like Beevis and Butthead somehow had a love child together.

@ds5436

I feel bad for Nikola Tesla. His name deserves better.

The way I feel about Elon is the same way I feel about the Manson Family at the end of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

@johnpowers9058

The audacity and sheer lack of humanity for Musk to complain about Waltz standing on a stage and commenting on the falling Tesla stock. While he stood on a stage with a chain saw gloating about cuts.

@Wolfy83

I laughed out loud when Musk said, "What an evil thing to do." He is one of the most evil people on the planet, yet he claims that someone mocking him is evil? Please.

@XxThunderflamexX

I really think most of this comes down to Main Character Syndrome. He sincerely believes that he’s special, not in the way that we’re all special, but that the Universe, or the Simulation, is specifically built for him as a game, and him Winning is needed to save the world. Any opposition to him, in his eye, is opposition to humanity itself.

@ryandrew-tv7bg

The people who are now saying empathy is wrong are outing themselves as actually evil. Treat them as evil. treat the people that defend them as the evil they are.

@Where_is_Waldo

And, of course, he frames it as though western civilization not only is empathetic but uniquely empathetic. 🤦‍♂

@KOZMOuvBORG

3:13 the first departments he's disbanding also happen to be the ones investigating his companies.
