@Supersaurus4

Never thought there would be a carnivore that actually makes all other dinosaurs, including T.Rex and Velociraptor, steer clear of it.

@jw_gojifan19

Before I read the book, I came across this thing via the Lost World arcade. Pretty gnarly dino

@pikachuyip1478

If the Novel Carno was in the Movie with weird chameleon eyes with camouflage ability I’ll be freaking out.

@msmdaily-b4q

I feel like this one is the Carno that should be In the movies instead of the ones we got

@JacksonTheIrishman

I like how one of the indo’s most dangerous traits is that it can camouflage really well, and it only uses this ability, like, 2 times.

@dofus6972

Fun fact: if you played the Jurassic Park arcade games. This carno was a boss fight in one of the facilities and was described as a "chameleon-like dinosaur" and could essentially camouflage so well that it was literally invisible, even in a bright room. (ALSO, DinoFax, you should totally cover the arcade games and the dinos in them to both the books and movies!!) :D

@ktsalinas5444

While I do like the first Jurassic World and do think it's better than it's two sequels, I do think the film really Underutilized the I-rex's camouflage potential since it only used it for that one scene and never again.
Like the part where Owen, InGen, and the raptor squad end up all having to go after the I-rex could have been for another good opportunity for the I-rex itself to use even more of its camouflage abilities to really make it feel like TLW Carnotaurus.

@destructocid

lol the security guard screaming “it can camouflage” as he’s about to die just so the audience all knows what’s going on was very thoughtful.

@theteainpotato

but like, these guys would be a great big bad on screen. true horror

@geckoraptor9397

One of my favorite scenes from my favorite book i love that it was in the very begining we didnt know what killed the person

@mwprod6700

T rex: “I fear no dinosaur. But that thing? It scares me.”
Raptor: “No way. I’m not going to talk about that freak. He’s not here, is he? And how do I get this tracker out?!”
Spinosaurus: “One shutters to imagine what supernatural thoughts lie within those eyes. What dreams of chronic and sustained creulty.”

@lil_rascal5235

I remember these things as a boss fight in that one Jurassic Park arcade game where it would camouflage to hide itself from the player, then pop up behind them to get an attack in. It was a scary dinosaur thing that made me scared of chameleons for the rest of my childhood.

@nicholasshealy9040

“In fact, during the nighttime, it’s said that they’re almost invisible unless you really pay attention, kind of like an Elite from Halo.”

The last part of that sentence made me feel pretty giddy for some reason . . .

@ryanlipinski4325

Alberf Einstein once said: "If you can't explain it simply...then you don't fully understand it!" Your analogy with Elites from the Halo franchise really put this into perspective! Good job!

@rosablackbaccara

In Disneys Dinosaur from 2000 the Carnotaurus also could camouflage. At the beginning of the movie you see a green Carnotaurus in a forest stalking it's prey. Running out of the forest to attack it's red.

@75Star-Raptor93

The "Carnotaurus' is like the "Predator's" Stealth Camo too!

@pazzettossaurorex2974

The fact that even the Tyrannosaurus were afraid of entering the Carnotaurus area makes it clear that those guys weren’t a joke at all.

@bray2964

Ah yes, the elusive "Doyouthinkhesaurus"

@CrispytoastV0

Beaver would be proud of toast for being able to camouflage and being the apex predator of the night 😊😊😊😊😊

@jackwalsh7264

Super cool I have never really read or been into the novels so thanks for educating me on this adaptation. Watching your vids really gets me wanting to read them for myself so just keep up the great work
