this is all important but you also forget that endurance improves from consistency and intensive training as well as going on runs to get yourself moving and fit and interval sprints are also good for stamina and is similar to match situations since you run in bursts.

The best way to increase stamina is to jog for endurance and do interval sprints(hiit). And Of course food is the key so is water and get at least 7-8 hours of sleep.
My position is RB but for my new team where I've played 1 game for them I've been used as a striker. When I play at RB my best role is the wingback role. I run up and down the pitch and I don't get tired because of my fitness
