Andrew, be proud of ur heritage - people do not need a reason to be racist, sexist, etc. and your country seems more toxic in that regard thsn most. Perhaps the answer to your racial divide is to stop calling people Asian/African/hispanic American - just be American.

Either of these young men of vision, intellect, concensus-building and compassion would have been far superior as president. I will still vote for Biden, but both of these men would be committed conscientious public servants that are capable of bridging our many divides as they are not easily flustered by the insults of the ignorant.

That was a wonderful shared conversation. Two of my favorite political people. Joe Biden would be wise to grab both of you into his immediate cabinet to help get NEW ideas combined with Biden’s calm exterior. The energy of his campaign is going to have to come from the young people and new ideas. (spoken as a 69 year old single woman). This is your time to shine as we tried to do in the 60s and 70s. So much changed in the mid 70s. Decade long norms changed so fast as the possibility of computers became a reality. Women’s rights became a slow progression toward independence and because of that, and the no-fault divorce, the whole family dynamics changed. And it never looked back. It accelerated at warp speed and it has not allowed people to adapt to such huge changes. Things that you could always depend on to remain solid and the same suddenly disappeared and were not replaced with anything you could relate to. Things that you weren’t taught in school and that there were no classes to take because computers were CREATING their own reality were suddenly demanding knowledge that we didn’t have 5 yrs ago. All that wordy stuff just to say, please lead my children and grandchildren toward a better world. I’m depending on minds like yours to make the changes we weren’t able to.
