@mcan543

One of the manic days of Siraj.

@vinovano3774

What's your role in this project? How is it funded? What do you plan to achieve in the next 6-12-18 month?

@opm-sriram2070

I don’t want to sound rude or something but I genuinely feel this is not a problem that can be tackled just by applying some NLP over research papers.The full gravity of it is unthinkable.

@phillaysheo8

How many people with just a certificate from his School of AI will he hire? 🤔

@sphereron

If you really want to succeed, you need real medical partners to act as advisors. A lot of ML projects applied to Healthcare fail because they don't consider this.

@edwassermann8368

he lost his mind

@js913

He deserves an Oscar for now.

@mozillafirefoxism

I just came here to read the comments.

@JJTrades_X

The big question here is will this be just another flare up and burn out project or will it become realized? Stay tuned folks.

@qingnanduan8180

I can build quantum doors for your AI hospital.

@alanfender123

It makes me sad to see Siraj like this. You should gone through a more traditional progression of getting a Ph.D. and working in a research lab instead of running off to Amsterdam to do god knows what.

@ducodarling

Applying NLP to medical records...
You better lawyer up my friend. That is, if you can even get access.

@LofiWurld

My guy wants to Pip install world problems away

@Iztheticgaming

I am not applying!

@user-fs2zt4tk6q

Are u just farming cover letters for ur own purposes :p

@viveknayak9899

Theranos part 2?

@OtherTNSEE

So, not to be a downer, but i've been through this before. IBM Watson Health tried exactly this, and they've had limited success. Main issue comes down to data. Medical data is protected and building worthwhile data sets becomes the main limiting factor. They had to start making synthetic data sets on limited amounts of real data. Go figure, it skewed the results.

Honestly the best use for ML/AI right now in the medical field would be something to digest all of the medical journals from around the world and help summarize the content for existing doctors. This wouldn't require medical records as it would primarily be using something like gpt-3 or better to read the articles in a journal, translate them, find conflicts with other journals, and flag interesting content based on the end users field and existing knowledge. Heck take it a step further and have it cross reference the authors of papers versus their employers / investments to filter out clear bias.

@codelucky

Tren. Remember?

@zzzaaalll

But few days ago you said u are looking for job 😳😳

@ismaelgoldsteck5974

You will get paid. Lol.
