I tend to repot after acclimation from bringing it home into my own soil mixes, not a fan of the dense soil they come with
I was just asking myself that question. Thank you, that was helpful.
I repotted my money tree last year, and he slowly declined after. I didn't disturb the roots much and put it in a well draining mix. Leaves started to yellow and drop, so I watered less assuming it was the change in soil moisture. Eventually, one of the braids dried up and died, so I watered more. Then another braid went to mush😂 Finally, this year the last braid both dried up at the top and went to mush at the bottom 😂 I use a moisture meter, it had good light, no pests... Hard lesson learned about how sensitive these trees can be!
What are the white things in the soil ?
What do you do with old soil? Put it outside?
A cheeky replant! Man, I love this guy… 🪴 I’m replacing my money tree this weekend.
It works! I am not too sure why, but it does. I recently repotted a plant that I’d only repotted a month ago and if went from drab to fab 🪴
