Meanwhile 90% of the bills I get are ripped
One kid actually broke Canadian money in my school
Too bad it's not immune to inflation.
As a Canadian I can confirm that money here is indestructible ๐
only issue is if there is an tiny amount of damage at all, it spreads and rips the whole bill as soon as you touch it ๐ญ
Same as Australia.
Uk be like : donโt remove the queen from the bill
Polymer banknotes, made from synthetic polypropylene, have several drawbacks, including: Cost: They are more expensive to produce than paper banknotes, especially in the short term. Recycling: They require specialized recycling processes, and some countries may not have the facilities to recycle them. Compatibility: They may not be compatible with existing automatic payment and vending machines. Folding: They are harder to fold than paper banknotes and can crease when folded. Slippery: Their smooth surface makes them harder to count by hand. Stickiness: They can get sticky when wet. Fading: The colors of polymer banknotes can fade over time. Sorting: Older sorting machines may not be able to sort them out as fast as paper money. Environmental impact: When burned, they pollute the air.
Bulshit those bills break so easily almost broke five-dollar bill in half by pulling it out of my pocket the wrong way
Because she was our queen. Us Canadians may have unbreakable money. But Iโm not joking when I say this but my friend actually ripped on once. So its actually possible theyโre just not doing it right
UK Australia Romania Nigeria and some other countrys : ๐ฟ
Mean while you have the Australians already having that.
Egypt also has a 10 dollar bill which has the same material
Fun fact, European note bills are made from cotton, not paper like some would think
Australian roller ๐
i got some scissors that will fix it
i used to live in canada and i know that those bills can go through a washing machine and come out without a scratch. that is also why now with me having american money i put all in the bank because you cant physically break electronic money or cryptocurrency
