As a Canadian I can confirm that money here is indestructible ๐Ÿ˜‚

@bakedpotatojoe

only issue is if there is an tiny amount of damage at all, it spreads and rips the whole bill as soon as you touch it ๐Ÿ˜ญ

@actualfacts1055

Polymer banknotes, made from synthetic polypropylene, have several drawbacks, including:
Cost: They are more expensive to produce than paper banknotes, especially in the short term.
Recycling: They require specialized recycling processes, and some countries may not have the facilities to recycle them.
Compatibility: They may not be compatible with existing automatic payment and vending machines.
Folding: They are harder to fold than paper banknotes and can crease when folded.
Slippery: Their smooth surface makes them harder to count by hand.
Stickiness: They can get sticky when wet.
Fading: The colors of polymer banknotes can fade over time.
Sorting: Older sorting machines may not be able to sort them out as fast as paper money.
Environmental impact: When burned, they pollute the air.

@dvsblades187

Bulshit those bills break so easily almost broke five-dollar bill in half by pulling it out of my pocket the wrong way

@ryleejohnson2583

Because she was our queen. Us Canadians may have unbreakable money. But Iโ€™m not joking when I say this but my friend actually ripped on once. So its actually possible theyโ€™re just not doing it right
