These are very good, Madeline. Thank you for sharing! Re. The last question, itâs context-dependent. I like to use the phraseology common in my industry (investment management). The word âcolorâ is something youâll often hear on things like earning calls. So the way I put it is, âIs there anything in my history or skill set that I can provide more color about that perhaps we havenât touched on?â Again, depends on the interview and âreading the roomâ. BTW âcolorâ is just a fancy word for âbackground informationâ.
Healthcare job shopper here. I am grateful for these questions, as much corporate job search information has no parallel. I have asked about my skills in interviews as differing practices require different skill sets. In my interview tomorrow I will be using your model from this video, as well as the âhow do you see me fitting into the role.â from your other video. Thanks Madeline.
Madeline, thank you so much for your help! Today, I had an interview and asked 3-4 of your questions. At the end of the interview, the HR professional thanked me for asking such good questions! She continued to say that no one ever asked any. SCORE! Sadly though, this is a part-time job that I expected 25 hrs min., and she told me it's only 20 for now. Additionally, it pays (she volunteered the info) $1 less an hour than I expected. Not sure what to do. Ugh.
Oh yes. Love the team question.
