It sounds odd, as I’m a 9mm guy on pistols and pcc’s, but 45 comes to mind, w/ 5.56 or 300blk as a backup maybe. I can think of all kinds of disadvantages of that choice, but I’d be able to suppress, carry concealed, and do a lot of things with it, even if it wouldn’t be ideal for any of them. I just can’t see a situation where I’d be truly comfortable picking 308 or any rifle caliber and totally lose concealed carry as an option. I’m probably wrong, though.
