I'm so happy with my iPhone 13 mini - got the 512 GB version too so that it could be future-proof :-) (upgraded from iPhone SE 1st generation)
I have the SE 3 as a backup phone and decided to use it for a full day. I set the screen brightness to maximum level the entire time that I was out because it was a bright sunny day in the month of May. I watched cable TV on it and made many calls using the speaker phone. Then i played internet radio between the calls all whilst I used ride share apps as I commuted to different locations. When I got back home five hours later, there was 56% of battery power left. I talked for two hours on the phone that the evening (using speaker phone) and then afterwards I played a few games on it. I never charged it, woke up the next morning with 21% battery power left. I was very impressed and pleased with it. Being a budget phone, it was far better than I anticipated!!!
As a SE 2 user, I'm so glad that its battery life is much better. I love mine but its battery life is getting worse every day. I think I'll wait for the 14 to come out and get a 13 mini since there will be no mini anymore.
Just got the new SE and have been using it only for 2 weeks so far. Not a heavy user, I’ve been maintaining the battery between 80-20% (only charged it full to 100% once by accident). Today’s usage was around 6 hours from 75-20% (2 1/2 hrs Instagram, WhatsApp 30 mins, 1 3/4 YouTube, and the rest on MLBB, a MOBA game). Only bought this 256GB model for $325 from my telco provider, so I will be biased in my opinion it’s worth the price.
I appreciate the patience this video must have taken you - cheers
I have the SE3 and have no battery issues. I noticed that the screen on the SE3 was more true to colour than the pink hue of the iPhone mini.
A true test is both phones tested with a sim inserted. The cell signal can most definitely drain a battery.
8 hours and 30 mins is really good for the se! I am soon getting an iPhone and I want the iPhone se. Now that I know that the battery is really great, I am for sure getting it. Thanks for this test!
But with the Oled display on the 13th mini, 50% won’t be the same since the 13 mini has a higher Brightness level
Amazing video! This is gonna help so many people choose a small phone, also can you make a battery drain test for iOS 15.4.1 from iPhone 6s to 13 including iPhone SE 2 and 3?
Se 3 did a hell of a lot better than I thought it would
I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini. Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible. It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.
SE3 is a great improvement over SE2
I’m the one thinking that Apple should replace de SE models for the mini? After using android for to many years I bought my mini and I’m pretty surprised with the battery performance and the easy manage with one hand.
I just ordered 13 mini but can not help but be surprised by the battery of SE 3 I currently have an iPhone 11 and it only holds me for 5 hours a day after two years of use.
Currently using an iPhone 8 and I’m considering getting the SE3 as an upgrade. Love the size & weight and easy one handed use. Will I see notable upgrades in performance, battery life & cameras? Even though my 8 has 100% BH on iOS 16, it does drain fast and can overheat.
After watching this i have ordered my Brand New SE 2022 I'm really amazed with batery timing with this little tiny battery.bring it on
I feel grateful for your effort which helped a lot. Btw I just copped SE 3rd gen before watching this.
THANKS FOR THIS VID! 🥰 Still hoping u would do this test to 11 and SE3 devices too, pleaseeeee🙏
