So you know a Jordan vs LeBron conversation happened. The most tired, overused, boring and repetitive topic that should've ended a long time ago. 2 different eras.
Steph curry would dominate in an era where teams routinely set up their defense with feet below the 3 point line. Not to mention that they resorted to fouling players they couldn’t stop. Try fouling the greatest free throw shooter of all time and sagging off of his jump shot, you’d get destroyed. Let’s remember that the nba couldn’t stop Allen Iverson or Grant Hill and they did the simple left to right or right or left crossover. Imagine them trying to stay in front to Kyrie or curry with their shooting ability as well as finishing. This is a terrible and straight up disrespectful argument. Superstars adapt and can play in any era.
Steph wouldnt last but Spud Webb, Muggsy Bogues, Mark Price, Michael Adams, Dame Stoudamire, etc etc etc etc, all were able to "SURVIVE" just fine..... 🤔😕🤷🏾😂😂😂 Truthfully Steph wouldve just adapted, the same way the guys did when physicality was first introduced. Ive been watching the game since about 82-83, and as much as i admired my era. Theres nothing ive seen that says Steph, and all the guys being called soft, couldnt overcome. I love my era but i can also call BS when i see it....
Dudes be just saying stuff
Manu ginobli isn’t European he from Argentina
Curry would destroy them, he would get drug tested every week , they would be in awe and would think he’s an alien with those shots
The NBA made the NBA “soft”. It’s not that soft as not just anyone can just walk out there and dominate. It drifted away from defense and physicality and became more about offense
This narrative where they played tackle football in the NBA is crazy to me because they played that way you assume that another man today couldn’t do it I don’t understand that
Why are these arguments always targeted at players like curry? This is how I can tell when someone doesn’t watch the game. Steph curry averages 4.3 free throws a game for his career, which might be the least of any all time great ever to average 25+ points for 5 or more seasons. He gets the least favorable whistle that I’ve ever seen. Why would you make this argument about the player that is guarded more intensely than any other perimeter player of today? There’s always 3 sets of eyes on him from the opposite free throw line to the basket.Steph is a 6’2 guard that doesn’t have otherworldly athleticism and he has accomplished enough in an OBJECTIVELY more skilled era to be considered a top 10 player ever or at least in that conversation. Stop the bs and disrespect it’s corny.
mahmoud abdul rauf avg. 19th in 92-93 season. What makes you think that Steph wouldn’t average more? He would have figured it out. The old G’s gotta let it go. My God.
WTF are they talking Steph is worst officiated superstar in the history and mean the entire history of the NBA!!! He’s doesn’t go the whistle now and he still drops 30. Stop 🛑 it
ANALYTICS killed the NBA ..
The sad truth is SAS probably knows that if you are teleporting players across different eras you have to assume the same level of basketball experience in order for the discussion to even make sense. Doesn't take a Hall of Famer to understand that Curry wouldn't be trying to play exactly the same way.
WE ON DRINK CHAMPS BUT WE NOT DRINKING.
Prior generation wouldn't even last 5 minutes chasing Steph around the court, there would be no energy left to play offense. Tired of these old cats not acknowledging the new generation of players has way more access to conditioning and athleticism regimes than any athlete ever before. Steph Curry would've averaged 40, in an era where they played zones and crowded the mid range/paint.
SAS is keep pushing this narrative
this is the most savage raw footage i've seen of stephen a 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Steph Curry would have done just fine in the 80s or 90s. If he played in the 80s or 90s he would have adapted just like he did in this era. Some people say Larry Bird couldn't play in todays game but he would kill it in this era as well. Great players can play in any era.
Manu not European he from Argentina
