2:20 fun fact about the Ingenuity, it originally was planned to only have 5 flights on mars. by the end of its mission it completed 72 flights. I'd say it was very successful.

@hgbugalou

Considering the ingenuity helicopter was only expected to last a few hours on mars, we got more than our money's worth out of it.

@damprat141

8:22 kwyte so chronically online they mistook the edge of wavy ceramic tiles covered in ash for bisexual room lighting

@prysmwyvern1034

Little fun fact about the "dead" Mars robot. It was originally intended to make only five flights, but Ingenuity completed 72 flights in nearly three years, li'l dude is STILL collecting data, even though it can't move anymore, so that it can one day be collected. R.I.P.

@E_Lordi

12:35 AH WHATS THAT BEHIND YOUR EYES??? ITS LIKE ANOTHER PAIR OF HUMAN EYES WHAT THE HELL??๐Ÿ˜ญ๐ŸชŸ๐Ÿƒ

@emmarina3525

So as someone with a hyperfixation on planes, birdstrikes are one of the worst things that could happen during takeoff, aside from an engine fire obviously, not deadly, but enough to warrant having to land. Most engines can handle small birds but when a birdstrike happens, and the bird involved is on the bigger side like seagulls, it literally rips apart the engine from the inside. So it's completely understandable to ground the plane, just like any other plane, following a birdstrike, because it's very likely to have damaged it enough to where it's not safe to fly

That first one is why Iโ€™m afraid of going to drone shows

FUN FACT: The full quote for that is "Jack of all trades master of none, though oftentimes better than a master of one", its very much like the "The customer is always right, in matters of taste" is the full quote for "The customer is always right". We just sometimes delete parts of quotes.

paused in the middle of this video to buy some fish and while I was gone my dog ate my good pair of headphones

@Azeer1

5:39 For a good context, Game theory calculated that to hold back the water the way Darth Vader did in Fallen order would be the equivalent of 301M pounds (136M kg)

@peregrine4214

2:27 they actually still have it going, but since it can't fly all it does now is monitor weather on mars

@roxyspamcake

2:16 NASA actually expected the Ingenuity helicopter to last 5 flights. But they carried out 72 with it instead. Having it give out after so many more missions than expected, even with such a catastrophic failure, is an excellent accomplishment in my book. ๐Ÿ‘

@GUNUFofficial

Fun fact: there is the rusting remains of a ship from the 1900s in the ohio river, it got stuck after the previous owner tried relocating it, he gave up trying to relocate and fix it and left it to nature. Also you can see it in an 80s madonna music video.

@SnowLily123

6:01 Kwiteโ€ฆ it was probably a tornado.

@sarahgolden9571

14:04 the youtube channel yovo68 is a great example of this! Its lovingly been dubbed "the can opener bridge" by locals and youtube viewers, and I always smile when I see an upload on the channel because it means that bridge has claimed another victim...

@python1972

4:50 for anyone who didn't wanna google it CNC's use computer code to cut metal without user input. They're designed to cut down to the "micron" which is 1/1000th of a millimeter (a millimetre is 0.4 inches).

That's how precisely built those things are most major companies (at least in the UK) have a tolerance (meaning how much can be left on/cut off) of 5 microns. This is literally a machine that could split hair and it got *crumpled*.

@Cave_Enemigo

kwite's glasses are so epic it has the ability to duplicate images.
12:31 ladies and gentlemen, we got em, kwite's eyes are visible here.
edit:wow, i never expected my comment to get over 300 likes, the most i've gotten before is around 20 or so, so this is quite shocking to see.
