Rated E. For Everyone
A 115 mph wind gust would put it at an EF-2 (111-135 mph wind gusts) but the EF system mostly rates based off damage so if it didnt do any it could be an EF-0
I'd say EF2 or 3. Nice chase Reed
It's frightening, but also beautiful
Oh my goodness! It looks like a scene from the original Twister movie! 😮 God bless you guys!
Beauty of a twister! Hope no one was hurt! Team dominated for the win!!
I always liked this kind of photogenic tornado with the light of the sun able to light it up making it look white and smokey
At Least An EF2 Rating What a Beauty
Cool bless u for posting this my family in SD were storm chasers for many years❤❤
Reed isn’t too antsy about not being able to intercept it, so I’m going to guess EF-3.
If only we could fathom all the dynamics that produce these awesome storms So much more to uncover
I just had a mini heart attack… you guys are amazing, mad respect for y’all.
Interesting Chase, Reed... You’re Awesome!!! 😇
I’ve seen a few in my day. But by far the ones that hit Ringgold and Chattanooga area in April 27,2011 was the only time I was scared. I was with my 7 year old son and we were in the car heading home. He pointed out the car window and said wow daddy look! I didn’t believe what I was seeing as we watched it forming and didn’t know which way to turn or go. I had one when I was a teenager that I was just a little ahead of myself as it passed behind me. After it was over I went back to see the damage it left in its trail.
Reed always has the best footage! And when you drove into that tornado in Nebraska i think it was i want to chase with you bud!
EF1 I chased it as well near Windthorst Texas
Its a scary during the day and absolutely terrifying at night!! 😮
Very photogenic tornado
Its a EF-2 at this point unofficially. What the damage assessment crew's findings are is a whole other story. It could have had peak winds much higher moments later or earlier.
