Bunnies are the BEST! We just got our very first pet, a sweet little lop bunny. We were blessed! It was given to us from my daughter's teacher after we asked if we could keep him after watching him over the summer and she said yes! No questions asked! Turns out he's the perfect pet for us. We tried a dog years ago but that didn't work out.

Aww... thank you for helping the cottontail and leaving water for her. You did all the right things. Obvi you know but others might not. When people rescue a bun very important to know give the formula slowly as they can aspirate it to the lungs and always syringe goes on side of teeth between molar and incisors 🌸

Brings back memories of my Dad. Every other year or so he woulld find a clutch of baby rabbits that he'd bring home and raise so that their first venture in town would not turn them into road kill or dog food. We would feed them milk and since my Dad was a doctor he would had some liquid vitamins used for newborns. We had a cabin in the woods that abutted a country club with a lake and a nine hole golf course. When they were ready for the wild we would take them there where there was too much human activity golfing and fishing for predators and enough woods with food and lodging for them. But we also left food there for them for the first week or so. I remember him doing that three or four times when I was a kid.

That's very sweet. You should definitely remind people that is a wild rabbit. While driving to usually don't do well when they are rescued and their death rate is a bit high. That's great that you work with them as well as you do.

Thank you! There is a special place in my heart for people who help animals. Animals remember their relationship with humans. It's humans that have forgotten our relationship with animals.

I would like to have rabbits as stock meat some day, I love that your video was meant as humor! "Don't get attached!" Was a good touch because wild animals released are hard to see go. Very sweet and heart warming!
