If you can’t find thinly sliced meat at stores nearby, no problem! I’m using a chuck roast with some fat in it, put it in a freezer for a couple of hours till the meat is half frozen. And slice it as thinly as you can using a sharp knife. You can also do this with pork. It’s ready to use for cooking your favorite Japanese recipes, like Gyudon or beef udon.
