“Flare Battle 1” was composed in Garageband (ios) on my iPhoneX. I started composing the song on February 25th, 2020 at 6:19 PM, and finished it sometime afterwards.

I'd recently been working on "Through the Scarlet Cries", and remembered some of my older funhouse songs. I decided to try and make an updated version of "Pixer's Funhouse A" in the soundfont I created and used for "Through the Scarlet Cries", and this was the result.

I felt very good about this song after I'd finished it, and I loved the way the instruments sounded with it. Just as I'd come to associate "Pixer's Funhouse A" with Laz (named just "Him" at the time,) I thought of this as his battle theme were he to be in the universe/game for Lands of Fleradove.
