Unraveling, written in 2011, is written thru the eyes of someone going thru the struggles of staying sober. That was my life back then. I went cold turkey on all the partying. But damn, those first few days/weeks/months of sobriety were brutal. From numbing life with the chemicals to feeling everything, for better or worse, was a complete 180. So I chose to write and make music. In those first 6 months I wrote, produced and recorded over 80 songs. This one in particular captures that time period best. This remix features a new beat from DJ Fatz, a new chorus and backing vocals from D-Magik, and re-recorded verses from myself.
