This video is about the concern expressed by the angels when Allah announced the creation of a new being—humans. The angels feared that this creation would commit injustice, spread corruption, and shed blood. Unlike other creatures, humans have the inherent capacity to be unjust. However, Allah, in His infinite wisdom, created mankind as His vicegerents on earth. His mercy and justice encompass everything. Allah sent prophets and revealed scriptures to establish justice among humanity. The Qur’an repeatedly commands justice and declares oppression (zulm) to be forbidden, even stating that Allah has made injustice haram upon Himself. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) warned his followers against wronging others. Zulm is one of the gravest sins that invites Allah's punishment, as seen in the destruction of past nations who transgressed. The worst form of oppression is state-level tyranny, like that of Pharaoh, and in modern times, the oppression against the Palestinian people is cited as a continuation of such injustice. Beyond state-level oppression, individuals must also reflect on whether they are unjust in their personal dealings. In his final sermon, the Prophet emphasized that a Muslim's life, property, and honor are sacred—just as sacred as the Kaaba. Injustice will manifest as darkness on the Day of Judgment, and if wrongs are not rectified in this life, they will be paid for with good deeds in the next. The Prophet described the truly bankrupt person as the one who comes on Judgment Day with good deeds, only to lose them all to those he wronged. This video is about that.
