Visiting the UXMAL Mayan Ruins from Mérida, Mexico by BUS! (+ Choco-story)

45,801 views 1964________

The Yucatan Peninsula is the heart of the ancient Mayan civilization and Merida is close to many different Mayan ruins, so before we left, we had to go see one for ourselves! We chose to visit Uxmal, which is about an hour southeast of Mérida and to make things extra fun…we took a public bus. Thankfully the day went very smoothly and we had a ton of fun seeing the ruins, which are very impressive, plus visiting a chocolate museum nearby!
