I Challenged Myself To Make The Cheapest Possible Clone Hero Controllers

1902 54________

I have so many spare guitars that I use for my crazier builds laying around and needed to test out these USB Encoders, normally used for arcade pads. So, I challenged myself to pretty much spend 0 dollars on top the $8 dollar encoders and build two guitars out of them. I even made a working whammy bar without the Encoder boards having any analog inputs, check out the video to see how!
I had all the other parts before hand, even the Hobby CNC fret circuit board just chilling in a drawer so even though I had to factor that in both guitars come in at under 25 bucks. The world tour guitar cost me a total build price of 23.23(including the .23 cent LED i used lol) and the SG was a total build of just 17.99 since the shell and parts were all junkyard scraps that I Frankenstein'd together.

As always, unless expressly mentioned, every guitar I make is for sale. For those interested in a 0 latency, inexpensive guitar..lol
