This is a guided tour of the Water Monitor website. The website provided people with information about water use in their homes. Over 100 households in Broughton and Broughton Gate in Milton Keynes were involved in a trial of Water Monitor. The trial aimed to understand whether access to more frequent water meter readings had an impact on improving their water efficiency. Some households were provided with weekly information on their water use and other households were provided with smart meters, that gave 24 water meter readings each day. The Water Monitor website was developed under the MK:Smart project, which ran from January 2014 to June 2017. The Water Monitor website is no longer live, however the findings from the trial and from the project are available on the MK:Smart website www.mksmart.org/.
