Good AI can help with fixing human business biases | Zohar's AI Nuggets
Everyone’s worried about AI Bias—But what if AI is also the solution?
We love to talk about how machine learning models reflect human prejudices and reinforce existing inequalities. But here’s another part of the plot: when done right, AI can actually expose bias and help correct it.
One great example would be Recency Bias—one of the most common (and dangerous) business blind spots. Humans tend to overweight recent events, ignoring long-term patterns. In contrast, AI doesn’t get emotionally attached to the last quarter’s results. It sees all the data, all the time, objectively.
The real risk isn’t AI bias—it’s human bias going unchecked because we assume our intuition is always right. Let’s challenge this narrative. Are we blaming AI for biases that are actually our own?
