This demonstration is part Two of a life drawing using an under painting and how you can use water on your pastels drawing. This is done using the Sanded heavy weight paper. The paper takes the water well. The paper I have here is a Sanded Wallis Paper.

The pastels are many different name brands. Here are the names:
Mount Vision
Sennelier
Great American
Rembrandt
Faber-Castell
Terry Ludwig

Each kind of pastel is made differently and handle blending different. Some are better for laying down large areas and some are better for details and blending colors together.
