Summarize files for quick information: Managing the volume of documents in your OneDrive folders can be overwhelming. Now with Copilot in OneDrive, you can summarize one or multiple files right in your OneDrive web app without opening each file. Additionally, you can generate an FAQ based on a file to use or share as a reference asset. For example, after returning to work from an extended vacation, in just one click with Copilot in OneDrive, you can summarize project plans and meeting notes to quickly catch up on a project you’re working on.

Find files with quick comparison: You might be working with multiple files, but you’re not sure which one has the right data or resources you need, or what the differences are between them. For example, you have a set of contracts for different customers and you’d like to determine the difference and similarities between these contracts. Easily select up to five files – even mixing formats such as Word docs, PowerPoints, and PDFs – Copilot can then offer a detailed comparison across the files so you quickly get a high-level understanding of the various information you’re working with.

Get answers on specific content: Sometimes you need to find a quick answer to a question presented to you, or need to find information to help with a project you are currently working on. It can be time consuming to manually sift through documents to find the details you need, especially if you just need a single detail within a file to work with. Simply ask Copilot questions around the information you need from the documents you choose, and quickly gain the right insights to do your best work.
