When there are multiple records in the system with a similar piece of information, say, the same contact number or email address, then this situation is known as “Data Duplication”.

With Entry Level Duplicate Check in place, our CRM will warn you if the data you have entered is duplicate,

And with some additional configuration, it wouldn't even allow you or your team to save the record if any field is Duplicate.
