Yes dear friends, we’re on a cruise ship for 18 days. But not just any cruise ship, oh no no no! We’re on a cross-atlantic repositioning cruise between Barcelona Spain and Miami Florida. As in … we’re going to cross a freaking ocean!

But first, some details. I am NOT a cruiser. I do not like the notion of sailing these monstrosities and calling it travel. A three hour port of call is not experiencing a place, and I will die on that hill.

This is part one of many. 18 days of cruising from Barcelona to Miami on the MSC Seaside (room 12011, if that helps). We somehow discovered that this is the cheaper option for returning from our six month European Odyssey throughout Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Hungary, and Turkey.
