In this video, I work an example problem in which I factor by grouping.
Factoring by grouping is a method used to factor polynomials, typically when the polynomial has four terms. The process involves grouping terms in pairs, factoring out the greatest common factor (GCF) from each group, and then factoring out the common binomial factor.
A typical problem would be,
3x+6y+2x+4y.
