Why did the Chicken crossed the road?
"Why did the Chicken cross the road?" is more than just a simple question or a wordplay. It is a visual piece that challenges us to look beyond the immediate meaning of things and explore the deeper symbolism in our everyday lives.
In this drawing, I chose to explore the concept of journey – stepping out of the comfort zone into the unknown. The chicken, a symbol of fear but at the same time the desire to discover, walks a road that is not just a simple path, but a boundary between worlds. It is a road suspended between reality and the fantastic, between parallel universes, and what surrounds the chicken – mysterious eyes, cosmic portals, and the monsters that form – are just fragments of a complex system of interwoven dimensions.
The world the chicken walks through is constantly changing – a place where reality becomes fluid, and the limits of perception melt away. The street it walks on is not just a road but a symbol of choice, of a decision that changes everything. The chicken represents that part of us that wants to face the unknown, to face fear, to break free from conventions, and discover what lies beyond the limits we set.
It’s an invitation to reflect on our own journey through life. It’s about courage, the questions that don’t have immediate answers, and what happens when you choose to cross that “road” that seems impossible. What will you find beyond that road? The journey continues... and we are the ones living it.
"Why did the Chicken cross the road?" is not just a question about a physical crossing into another place, but a question about the courage to step into another reality, facing all the risks and the unknown. It is a symbol of the endless exploration of the world around us, but also of the world within us."
