While Two Step is still King of country dancing, we were surprised to find that Country Waltz Dancing came in 2nd place above West Coast Swing, Line Dance, Country Swing, or any of the other styles of country dance.

In this intermediate waltz dance lesson, we assume you know how to waltz dance, so many of the concepts of the waltz basic steps will not be covered. The Syncopated Turn and Develope is one of the most beautiful country waltz moves and can be danced anytime there is country waltz music and enough room on the country dance floor or would just as at home when ballroom dancing.

Be careful when there are other people country waltz dancing around you and make sure that you have enough space to do the waltz develope.

Country Waltz dance intermediate to advanced levels are no different than American Style Ballroom Waltz dance. In country dancing, most dancers skip the "bronze" level and go directly into Silver Waltz with progressive dance steps.
