The 4-4-3 Rule ⤵️

Your profile is like a billboard!

Most people are only glancing at it before they follow you (or not).

4️⃣ Lines in the bio — if you add more than 4 lines to the bio, instagram will cut it off with a “…more” button.

This means that a potential follower will have to do extra steps just to read your bio! ❌

Instead, be concise and direct! 4 lines or less!

4️⃣ Story Highlights — the chances that someone scrolls through a long list of highlights is low, so make sure your first 4 highlights are the most important!

I recommend the following:
• Start Here
• About Me
• (what you do/what you sell)
• Testimonials/examples/before-and-afters

3️⃣ Pinned posts — most people pick their “most viewed” post to be their pinned post, but that not always what’s best!

Instead, I recommend that your pinned posts be:
1. Start here/self-introduction
2. Lead magnet/promotion
3. Exemplary post/what people can expect
