In this video, I had the honor of delivering a plenary talk at the 3rd Annual Meeting of Chilean Bioinformatics Society (3ra Reunión Anual de la Sociedad Chilena de Bioinformática) on connecting the dots between theory and application in bioinformatics. I shared my journey in bioinformatics since when I was in academia for almost 20 years before transitioning to tech where I doubled down on building data apps full-time.
