A cool little science experiment to try at home!

Get a length of rope and tie a small weighted object on on end and a even heavier object on the other pull up the larger object using a pencil to guide the rope. Let go of the rope... you'd think the larger object would smash in to the ground but instead the smaller object gets forced towards the pencil and wraps its self around stopping the larger object from hitting the floorA cool little science experiment to try at home!
