Family-friendly programming for all at the NCSML

51 0________

Each summer, families look forward to the NCSML’s Summer Family Free Day. Grandparents bring their grandkids, young children make crafts and get their faces painted, and people of all ages visit the galleries for free to learn about history and culture. This year a group of middle schoolers visited the "Guts & Glory: The War Train That Shaped a Nation" exhibit and excitedly told the staff how much they loved the virtual reality. “It felt like we were there!” they said. The kids couldn’t believe that students not much older than they were worked on the exhibit.

The NCSML is for everyone, and your donations make these stories possible.

Longtime NCSML supporter Steve Michalicek is proud of what the NCSML has done in the community, and he invites you to join him and make your gift to the Michalicek Community Challenge, during which he will match 100 percent of every gift to the NCSML in September and October, up to a total of $10,000. Visit www.ncsml.org/support to give to the challenge today!
