Here's something to try out. Using the steam controller as if it were a regular Xbox Controller. A lot of people out there are under the false impression that the steam controller touchpads prevent you from being able to use it for games that normally work well with two analog sticks. Even though the touchpad is flat, and definitely does work well for swiping and trackball mode aiming, you can also move your thumb over it like you would a right joystick and get a similar output. It just takes a little configuration and a few days practice to get it working. In fact, you can make either track pad work like a mousepad, "touchscreen" like, digital pad, joystick, or face buttons. This video briefly goes over how you to make it work like a joystick. Enjoy!
