The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Community Team has a program called New Voices, aimed at teaching public speaking skills through virtual classes and small-group activities. As a coach for this program, I found participants had a wide variety of skill and experience with public speaking. To help prepare students entering the program, and to help user group leaders develop speakers within their own communities, and in partnership with AWS Community leaders, I built an introductory public speaking course. The course is broken into 4 modules, and is designed for User Group Leaders to offer at their AWS Meetups. This video will give you an overview of the course and how to deliver it to your user group.
