The Best things to do in Mexico City!

2071 43________

The best things we did on our 1-week trip to CDMX! 🇲🇽

We did a lot more than what we're showing here, but these activities were the highlight of our time in the city.

COMMENT LINKS for the exact tours we show here! 👏🏼

1. Lucha Libre wrestling match: Only happens on Friday and Saturday. I was worried it'd be touristy and overrated. It was anything but! We had SO MUCH FUN. The tour included tacos, mezcals, beer and great context for what we were experiencing. 10/10 recommend!

2. Teotihuacan hot air balloon ride: It's an early wake-up call (dawn) and an hour outside of Mexico City, but it's 10000% worth it. This is a splurge activity for sure, but its money well spent. It's MAGICAL.

3. Biking Paseo de la Reforma on Sunday when it's pedestrian only! We loved this activity and the best part is that it's very affordable. We rented bikes from the ecobici app and paid ~$6 USD for the day pass. This felt like such a fun local experience.

4. Food tour in La Merced and Sonora market. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS ALONE. We've had several locals (plus our guide) emphasize that this market can be sketchy in some areas and is NOT a safe place for tourists to roam around. If you want to experience this local market, you need to go on a guided tour. We LOVED the experience, though, and ate so much great food!

5. Xochimilco eco tour. Most people come to Xochimilco to party, but we took the eco-route to learn about the chinampas, and how the Aztecs originally built these islands. It was SO fascinating and included lunch and a visit to several gardens.

Don't forget to comment LINKS for the details on these experiences 😀
