The second guest at Microsoft's #BookTalk series was Tony Connelly, RTÉ Europe Editor and author of "Brexit & Ireland". RTE's long-time Brussels correspondent Tony Connelly has been helping the public make sense of the implications of Brexit for Ireland. With his new book, he tells the dramatic inside story of the Irish response and lays out the agenda for the uncertain years ahead. Based on extensive interviews with insiders in Dublin, London, Belfast and Brussels, Brexit and Ireland is full of insights about how the EU actually works, and of colorful and revealing stories from the corridors of power.

The event was opened by Phil Hogan, Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development. It took place on 17 October, 2017, in Microsoft Center in Brussels.
