Our in-house coffee beans are from a local roaster in Portland- Super Joy Coffee roaster. The owner of the roaster, Joe, won the 2020 US west coast coffee roasting champion.

Joe does the roasting in his roaster, and right now, we use the house blend for regular espresso and single origin for decaf. They both are medium roasted. Coffee is seasonal, so Joe will decide whatever tastes the best based on what seasonal beans freshly arrived at the roaster (also the coffee that we use not only tastes good by itself but also greatly complementing with milk), and for quality control purposes, all the robots are using the same coffee bean across all the locations.
