I’ve mixed thousands of songs on analog desks - I love the sound, the punch, the depth.
But these days, I mix in the box. I need full recall, speed, and flexibility — but I still want that analog feel.

Channel emulation on every track
Harmonic distortion that adds depth without mud
Plugin chains that recreate the vibe of classic consoles
I also discuss the difference between adding harmonic distortion across the mix and on individual channels and why it matters.
