The word 'Beatlemania' was used by the press for the first time after The Beatles performed on the TV show "Sunday Night At The London Palladium on October 13th 1963. It was the show which introduced them to an audience outside teenage fans and was the pinnacle of the British entertainment world. A few days later week later they recorded their single "I Want To Hold Your Hand" followed by their first overseas tour to Sweden and recorded their single "I Want To Hold Your Hand".
