So Season 10 is almost over. Our grand six month slow travel swath through Europe, both east and west. But before we wrap it up completely on an ocean voyage back to the states, we have exactly four days left in Spain. Sitges and Barcelona, to be exact. Where it is raining, and expected to continue raining, for the entire time. LOL! But … it’s still my second favorite country, so let’s go say farewell.

This is our third (fourth?) time in Sitges Spain, a place that we absolutely love to visit. It’s small enough to be personal and large enough to … well, be large enough. It’s currently the end of October, so it’s no longer tourist season, which makes it nicer.

Spain is one of those places where we find complete comfort. It feels like home, no matter what corner of the country we are in. And it’s a place where we are seriously thinking of residing. But not today, sadly. We just have a few last days to pack in some Spanish goodness.

So, what’s the story? Having to say farewell to a place that we absolutely love. Packing in last minute memories before we have to leave for a very long time. Not knowing when we can come back. Only having four days to recapture joy after so many months away. How does one do that?
