(The watercolor paint sets with blocks instead of paint tubes can work, they're great for beginners, but I prefer using the tubes. I think the colors come out more even and are more controllable. But if you are looking for a travel set with the blocks, I recommend the Windsor & Newton sets. Don't cheap out on paints! Cheap paints will always look cheap!)
