Satan has chosen specifically to baptise this world with sexual immorality. Even if you are well meaning, the way he has framed the systems of this world, at one point in time, you will eventually give in.

He entices us by pulling on our intrinsic sexual desires at every corner so that sex is at the forefront of our minds and simultaneously, has allowed porn to be free so that its easily accessible by the click of the finger. Sexual immorality is different from many sins in that once you do it, its hard to relief your conscience. You feel filthy and unworthy of coming to God. When one is in such a state, they decide to go even further down the rabbit hole of lust. By the time they want to come out after seeing its darkness, they’ve already been bound by fetters. So no matter how hard they try, they can’t seem to escape it and so they just allow themselves to be consumed by it.

However, we have a God who is omnipotent. We may be weak but we have a God that is stronger. Go before His throne of grace in prayer, confessing your weakness and for Him to supply you with the strength to overcome it and He will. When Paul was going through trying times in the flesh, he said he will boast in his weaknesses so the power of God will rest on Him. God is attracted to brokenness and humility. Humility is being empty and God cannot fill you with His strength if you’re still full of yourself. Always be empty before God, confessing your weakness so that His power may fill the void.
