A UML Class Diagram is a Structure type of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram, showing the key elements of real life that need to be translated into the system. UML Class Diagrams help design implementation classes and serve as the first draft of the system database.

We will create a Class Diagram for an online shopping case. The Class Diagram has the following key elements: class, association, multiplicity, attribute, and operation. We'll explain each of them first and then build our diagram example.
