Along came virtual machines, then containers, and lately orchestration for lots of containers via Kubernetes and OpenShift. There are very compelling reasons for moving workloads into containers and for OpenShift-based orchestration. However, for some VM-based workloads this migration is not immediately feasible. OpenShift virtualization allows you to move VMs hosting those workloads into OpenShift clusters.
In this session we will:
Introduce OpenShift Virtualization
Discuss how it supports full VM orchestration natively
Discuss some adoption patterns that make sense.
