In today's episode I am joined with Stacey Roche who is a Paralympian athlete at the Sydney Paralympic participating in sports Boccia. Stacey who was apart of the New Zealand national team in 2000 Paralympics' she was the captain of the Boccia team, team of 4 paralypician athletes, Stacey is highly involved in the sport. Stacey also has cerebral palsy since she was born.
The conversation is mainly around Disability sport and Stacey's paralypician journey, she also talks about life after taking part in the games, and what you have to do to be a world athlete lots of preparation before within the qualifying rounds in different countries like Argentina, Stacey says "It's not holiday lots of hard work!"
Stacey also admits how competitive she is!
Stacey also has her own book called "The ups and downs of a dribbily wobbly" about her life as a Paralympian athlete.
