🚨 SEVERE WEATHER ALERT – ENHANCED RISK FOR TORNADOES, HAIL, & DAMAGING WINDS 🚨

A severe weather threat is unfolding this afternoon and evening across parts of central/northern Illinois and west-central Indiana. A few tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds up to 70 mph are possible.

-Tornadoes possible, including a strong tornado or two
-Damaging winds up to 70 mph
-Large hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter

🌪️ Storm Timing:
Afternoon (12-4 PM CDT): Thunderstorms develop across Illinois and Indiana.
Evening (4-9 PM CDT): Supercells capable of tornadoes and large hail intensify.
Late Evening (9 PM - Midnight CDT): Storms weaken, but some severe threats continue.
